Role

  • Liaise with the Project Manager
  • Ensure all daily and weekly tasks are complete, through regular communication with the on-site construction team
  • Manage equipment and machinery
  • Order materials as needed
  • Monitor and control the quality of work
  • Record developments in the site diary
  • Ensure both internal and external inspections are passed and processed
  • Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to, including the recording and reporting of any accidents
  • Work with the client to ensure all targets are met
  • Attend Management meetings providing updates on progress
  • Arrange site meetings to regarding any potential hurdles
  • Monitor and lead the subcontractors on site

Skills, Experience, and Characteristics

  • Fit-Out / Joinery background
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent motivator
  • Sound knowledge of standards and specifications
  • Excellent communication skills
