Role
- Liaise with the Project Manager
- Ensure all daily and weekly tasks are complete, through regular communication with the on-site construction team
- Manage equipment and machinery
- Order materials as needed
- Monitor and control the quality of work
- Record developments in the site diary
- Ensure both internal and external inspections are passed and processed
- Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to, including the recording and reporting of any accidents
- Work with the client to ensure all targets are met
- Attend Management meetings providing updates on progress
- Arrange site meetings to regarding any potential hurdles
- Monitor and lead the subcontractors on site
Skills, Experience, and Characteristics
- Fit-Out / Joinery background
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Detail oriented
- Excellent motivator
- Sound knowledge of standards and specifications
- Excellent communication skills
